Oren was a resident of Brendais. He welcomed the Eighth Doctor and Grace Holloway into his family home and explained to him about the Overseers. A few moments later, Oren and his family witnessed the Overseers collecting Tessa, and, soon afterward, coming to his house so he could be "ascended".
Later, at the Overseers' headquarters, the Doctor and Grace rescued Oren, Tessa, and the other children. (COMIC: The Body Politic)
