John Gill

John Gill (1912-29 March 2007) played Oak in the Doctor Who story Fury from the Deep.
Gill had a lengthly career from the early 1950s to the late 1990s, appearing on Z-Cars, The Avengers, The Plane Makers, The Saint, Dr. Finlay's Casebook, Dixon of Dock Green, The Baron, Softly, Softly, Paul Temple, Public Eye, Van der Valk, Special Branch, Churchill's People, Juliet Bravo, All Creatures Great and Small and The Bill. He had a regular role playing Fidgett on Swizzlewick.
