Professor Lasky' was a scientist who developed a new species of plant called the Vervoids. She met the Doctor and Mel on the Hyperion III]]. After her Vervoids began to hatch, she tried to stop them from killing everyone on the ship, but was killed herself by a poison dart. (DW: Terror of the Vervoids)
