Laser Torch

The laser torch is a piece of alien tech that probably came through the rift to Torchwood. It appears to be very handy for medical reasons as it is able to open up a human beings skin and reattach the skin back together with no apparent signs afterwards.

It was used by Captain Jack Harkness to open up a dead body on Day One of the alien invasion and retrieved a seemingly harmless alien from inside him that released morphine into the body. It was later used by Agent Johnson whom took it off of Captain Jack to open him up and insert a bomb into his stomach which later detonated destroying the Torchwood three base.
