Alice Carter
Alice Carter (née Melissa Moretti, previously Sangster) was the daughter of Jack Harkness and Lucia Moretti, a former Italian Torchwood Three operative. She was Gray's niece. She lived with her son, Jack's grandson Steven, who like every child in the world was briefly taken over by the 456. Jack visited her and wanted to do some tests on Steven. Alice's son, Steven, thought that Jack was his uncle. In 1977, Alice was put into cover by her mother, Lucia, who died in 2006 of natural causes. In hiding, Alice's parents were recorded as James and Mary Sangster, however the government knew they did not exist. Agent Johnson and her men took Alice and Steven into custody to use against Jack.
In Day Five, Alice and Steven were released from prison, but Jack needed a child to reverse the signal that killed Clem MacDonald to use against the 456. He used Steven against Alice's wishes, which resulted in his death.
