Just to clarify, it was Template:Frontier who appeared in Happy Endings, he is described in the novel as being the same incarnation who appeared in First Frontier and NOT the corpse Master from Dust Breeding, which was written around 7 years after Happy Endings. Canon[[edit source]]
Please note that Canon does not exist on this wikia as all stories are treated as canonical in some shape or form. Also please do not add opinions or speculation on articles as you have done with the Eighth Doctor page, as this is and saying things are not canon treated as vandalism on this wikia. Eighth Doctor's Regeneration[[edit source]]
There is NO definitive source for how the Eighth Doctor regenerated, Clives website is mainly based on the view of other who did not understand the concept of what regeneration is. I cant even remember it actually having anything about the Eighth Doctor regenerating just the 9th Dr in 8th's clothes.
"Everyone knows The Eighth Doctor's death was caused by an explosion, the fiery cataclysm of The Time War, the Time Lords, the Daleks, they all burned," this is just speculation that MAY be correct, there has been no story that explicitly stated that the Eighth Doctor was present at final end of the Time War and the best source we have on it is The Forgotten which gives no definitive ruling on what truly happened to the Doctor in the War, just that he was going to use the De-Mat Gun at one point.
This wikia is based upon SOLID FACTS and theory just doesnt belong here, on the forums fine but not on articles. The best info we have on the Eigthh Doctor's regeneration is there on the page now as it IS unknown exactly how he regenerated, we only have knowledge on what happened some time BEFORE and some time AFTER it happened. RE: Regeneration and canony stuff[[edit source]]
I never said the Time War didn't cause his regeneration in fact The Forgotten explicitly states that the Time War was the cause of his regeneration but it did not state that he was exterminated or the actual specific cause; the Time War is a general statement. I have read that quote from Clive's website before and it does suggest that he regenerated after or at the end of the War, but there is also the possiblity that this happened during the Time War as well, leaving a wide range of possibilities to exactly when it happened and why.
Also about the Stop the Pigeon thing, we dont know if that story was set in an alternate universe, it could be that it is set in the mainstream universe and that First Frontier and Dust Breeding are the ones that are set in an alternate universe, therefore we cannot say on the article that it is set in an alternate universe as we do not know for certain that it is. K9 Info[[edit source]]
Where do you get the extra info for K9, like why Ahab killed Zanthus Pia, details of the Great Cataclysm, and the four Jixen being the only surviving Jixen in the universe, because that wasn't said in the show. You said the DVD gave details on Drake's early life, did you find all that info on the DVD?--MrThermomanPreacher 18:57, June 2, 2011 (UTC)

Christmas cheer[[edit source]]
As this fiftieth anniversary year comes to a close, we here at Tardis just want to thank you for being a part of our community — even if you haven't edited here in a while. If you have edited with us this year, then thanks for all your hard work.
This year has seen an impressive amount of growth. We've added about 11,000 pages this year, which is frankly incredible for a wiki this big. November was predictably one of the busiest months we've ever had: over 500 unique editors pitched in. It was the highest number of editors in wiki history for a year in which only one programme in the DWU was active. And our viewing stats have been through the roof. We've averaged well over 2 million page views each week for the last two months, with some weeks seeing over 4 million views!
We've received an unprecedented level of support from Wikia Staff, resulting in all sorts of new goodies and productive new relationships. And we've recently decided to lift almost every block we've ever made so as to allow most everyone a second chance to be part of our community.
2014 promises to build on this year's foundations, especially since we've got a full, unbroken series coming up — something that hasn't happened since 2011. We hope you'll stick with us — or return to the Tardis — so that you can be a part of the fun!
