Zaxx
Zaxx was a 25th-century terraformer working on the Dollar Intergalactic project of terraforming Isen VI.
He had previously been a designer, but was reassigned to biosphere analysis after a flaw in his fjord design had caused the loss of a few miles of coastline. To make himself feel better, he programmed some jokes into his is android assistant Clive and also programmed him to praise him twice a day.
During one of his missions with Clive, Professor Spector asked him to investigate irregular seismic activity and temperature fluctuations in Sector 42. Upon arrival, he discovered a lava pool where a fresh-water lagoon was supposed to be. When he tried to contact Terra-Sphere Control, he couldn't get a connection, and Clive, reprogrammed by Rann-Korr, refused to let him back into their ship. He was killed by lava, which formed tendrils, grabbed him and pulled him under. (COMIC: Terrorformer)
