Dr Who in "Lilliput" was a story included in the Doctor Who Give-a-Show Projector set. While a re-telling of TV: Planet of Giants, the story borrowed little more than the concept from the television

Plot

In TARDIS, the Doctor notes to his companions Ian and Barbara that the Telector screen is not currently registering their position. Exiting the ship, the Doctor realizes that this is because they have re-appeared too small. After this, a bird approaches, mistaking them for insects. The team hides under a button just as a human arrives, scaring the creature away.

Notes

  • When a foot passes by the team and manages to scare off the bird, someone under the button refers to this being as a "human." If meant to be the Doctor, this may be one of the rare instances of 1960s Doctor Who comic writers being aware that the being was not actually born on Earth.
