Nimrod's prehistoric Neanderthal tribe considered the cave bear' holy. The Doctor roused Nimrod from his role as a butler and had him remember his original life as a hunter by means of showing him the tooth of a cave bear, which he happened to have in his pocket. (DW: Ghost Light)
