the emitter section on the toy is not added, but locked in the extended position, while it was mostly seen retracted in the episode. it's very clearly seen with this extended part in the close up shot as the doctor points them at each other 66.183.91.113^{talk to me} 03:25, September 25, 2014 (UTC)

Waiter's sonic pen(?)

I'd say so. It has a green light and buzzing noise, both of which pulsate repeatedly as the Waiter points the pen at the Doctor and Clara (obviously scanning their anatomy). Furthermore, the episode's script refers to it activating steel bands that secure the Doctor and Clara to their chairs in Mancini's Family Restaurant, though in the episode the connection between the pen and the metal restraints isn't made. --Time Lord ☎ 16:08, April 11, 2017 (UTC)
