Miss Brayley was a human biology teacher. Miss Brayley found and took care of a tiny and cute Drokkvid. After it ate a sandwich left in the draw, it began to eat up everything. When the creature grew to giant proportions she assisted the Eleventh Doctor and Clara by showing them the compost heap which was instrumental in defeating the Drokkvid, reverting it back to a more manageable size.
