Charles Lindbergh was a pioneer of Earth aviation.
He was a personal hero of both the Sixth Doctor and Evelyn Smythe. The Doctor tried to take Evelyn to meet Lindburgh in 1927, but they ended up on a gas dredger orbiting Jupiter. (PROSE: Jupiter)
