Mangor was a prehistoric scavenger on Salisbury Plain. He saw a standing stone appear, its shape, texture and colour obscured by the sun's rays. It appeared again at the height of summer each year, and became the inspiration for Stonehenge, which was a stone circles in tribute to the stone, on what the people believed was a sacred site. This stone was actually the Doctor's TARDIS, which appeared at the same time each year taking snapshots in an attempt to determine why Stonehenge was built. (PROSE: The Secret of the Stones)
