Peter David is an American writer of comic books short stories, novels and TV scripts, including numerous novels for the Star Trek franchise, for which he created a spin-off literary series, New Frontier. He wrote One Fateful Knight, a short story included in Short Trips: The Quality of Leadership. The story works in some ways as a tie-in to his non-Who novels of King Arthur in the modern world.
