Talk:Emojibot
From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
Name change
The Emojibots aren't actually called Emojibots. The Doctor refers to the nanobots as the 'Vardie' and refers to the Emojibots as the 'Vardie' at the end when he starts up the negotiations between the humans and the robots. For this reason, I think the name of this page should be changed.
EDIT: Someone changed the name of the page while I was writing this. Scoobydooman90001 20:45 April 22, 2017 (UTC)
- Aren't the Emojibots described in the episode by the Doctor as an interface to the Vardie? --Borisashton ☎ 19:48, April 22, 2017 (UTC)
- I'll let you all talk it out. I haven't seen the episode yet in Canada.
× SOTO (☎/✍/↯) 19:54, April 22, 2017 (UTC)- I think the Doctor does say that, but he seems to be referring to the robots and the city as one individual at the end. He says it's "their city. It's made of them." Scoobydooman90001 20:57 April 22, 2017 (UTC)
- I would interpret like this: the Vardi are the nanobots, and the Emojibots are their interface, their psychical presence you might say. --Borisashton ☎ 20:02, April 22, 2017 (UTC)

Controversial thought: But are they even called "Emojibots" in the episode? OS25 (Talk) 22:16, April 22, 2017 (UTC)
- I'm not sure, but they are in the credits, which we generally consider valid. JagoAndLitefoot ☎ 22:19, April 22, 2017 (UTC)
I am 97% sure that it is spelled "Vardie" but if the BBC Iplayer subtiles say it is Vardy then it is Vardy
