Deletion[[edit source]]

I comprehend the reasoning for deletion, and I almost agree with it. But I'm not sure that we shouldn't have a page about every Fan Show episode. It seems like the only reason that we don't is that few people care about such a thing. In the same sense that we only have like two Totally Doctor Who episode pages. Unless we had a forum discussion on this that I missed, of course...

However, as this isn't really a narrative we could cull the (webcast) maybe. A whole re-write to view this as a documentary before a skit would help out a lot. OS25 (Talk) 10:04, April 29, 2017 (UTC)

I think there's a clear distinction to be made between such shows as Totally Doctor Who, and The Fan Show. As essentially the originator of the Fan Show page, I made the decision to cover episodes only in a table because, frankly, most of these are quite inconsequential. We should not ever be covering every video put out by an official Doctor Who YouTube outlet as "documentaries". Doctor Who Extra was a serious attempt at a continuation of the Confidential sort of thing, so those do get individual pages. Episodes of Classmates are also covered only in tabular format. I don't think "We Need YOU! - San Diego Comic-Con" is a page we really need to have, nor do we need to be covering "Planet Of The Ood Review" in any substantial way. If you'd like to propose a move to covering individual Fan Show episodes more extensively, feel free to bring this up in the forums.

Fair point. Like I said, I think there is a place for fan show information, but no one would ever be willing to dedicate to it... OS25 (Talk) 21:54, April 29, 2017 (UTC)
