Fox Soames

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Fox Soames was an early 20th century mystery writer. (PROSE: Mad Dogs and Englishmen) He was also the anthology editor of the Book of Mayhem series. (PROSE: Kept Safe and Sound)

Along with Magda Soames, Fox attended Iris Wildthyme's party at Hobbe's End on May Day 1972. (PROSE: From Wildthyme with Love)

When Fox died, the Book of Mayhem series was cancelled. (PROSE: Kept Safe and Sound)

Alid Jag wrote a paper on the epistemological anomalies of Soames' work. In 2074, Jag read his paper at a conference about 20th century writing. The Eighth Doctor found a brochure for the conference in his boot cupboard and decided to attend the reading as he had suspicions that Soames had been "up to no good". When the Doctor came to the conference, he got distracted by the anomalous writing of Reginald Tyler. (PROSE: Mad Dogs and Englishmen)
