Talk:St Luke's lecture hall

Rename
Well, given precedent, St Luke's lecture hall looks quite good. Specially because it can save a few pipe switches, such as: "The Twelfth Doctor lectured on St Luke's lecture hall", instead of "The Twelfth Doctor lectured on a lecture hall on St Luke's". - I agree. Something with "St Luke's" in the title would look better and be easier for users to locate. As St Luke's University already appears to be a recurring location, I agree that we should follow the Coal Hill School precedent for rooms located within the university, using names such as St Luke's lecture hall and St Luke's canteen. 66 Seconds ☎ 16:10, May 15, 2017 (UTC)
- My only qualm with my own suggestion is that, presumably, this is not the university's only lecture hall. That said, it is a "St Luke's lecture hall", and the only one we've been to or even know of, so I think the name still fits.
× SOTO (☎/✍/↯) 16:51, May 15, 2017 (UTC)- Not disagreeing with the need for a rename, but interjecting what I hope is a helpful technical note. OS12's point about it being faster to type an undabbed term rather than a dabbed one perhaps ignores the fact that you don't need to type in the display name with a dabbed term, but you would have to type it in with an undabbed term.
The Doctor was in the lecture hall (The Pilot).
is all you'd need to type -- something which is actually less burdensome thanThe Doctor was in the lecture hall.
