Infoboxes must be written in FANDOM's portable infobox XML, not wikitext. This will ensure that Tardis' large mobile community will have the best possible experience.
Except in extraordinary cases, all infoboxes should also use a standard set of variable names, so that people moving from one infobox to another won't be confused. The variable writer should be used for writers in all media, for instance -- not author for books, but scriptwriter for television.
Where possible, use cases should be combined so that there are fewer overall infoboxes, and therefore fewer places for bugs to hatch. For instance, {{Infobox Story}} is used for all media, not just television or comics.
