Morris was a cyborg slave on board the Imperial Air Galley and a former gladiator in an alternate Rome that never fell. He was imprisoned as a slave when he illegally souped up his bionic arm circuits.

He was constantly escaping and being recaptured, requiring doctors to patch him up when he injured himself trying to escape.
