Cheetah Planet

The Planet of the Cheetah People is a semi-intelligent planet.

The Planet of the Cheetah People is an ancient barren planet, filled with rocky deserts and dry forest. It orbits a red sun, which gives the planet a red tint. It is also the home-world of the Cheetah People and Kitlings, though horses were also brought to the planet by the Cheetah People.

The Doctor implies that the planet is far from Earth, with many inhabitable worlds in between.

The Planet is somewhat intelligent and is connected to the Cheetah People. When the Cheetah People fight, the planet becomes unstable and starts to destroy itself and the water on the planet has healing properties to the Cheetah People. The Planet allowed the Cheetah People to teleport to other planets to bring back prey. As well, any humanoids (such as Humans and Gallifreyans) that are brought to the planet by the Cheetah People are converted by the planet into more Cheetah People.

At some point before the 1900s, an unknown civilization tried to conquer the planet. They bred the Kitlings to be their eyes and thought they could control the planet, but they were wrong. They too were turned into Cheetah People, leaving only the ruins scattered around the landscape. (DW: Survival)
