Bekaran deep-tissue scanner

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

The Bekaran deep-tissue scanner was a small, rectangular device with a series of lens on a side (PROSE: Slow Decay) and a screen the size of a pocket calculator (PROSE: Another Life). The Bekaran scanner allowed the user to see internal organs without surgery, with much greater accuracy and definition than an X-ray machine or an MRI scanner. (PROSE: Another Life) It was hooked up to Torchwood Three's wireless network. (PROSE: Slow Decay)

Torchwood Three had several Bekaran scanners, one of which was bought by Toshiko Sato while searching for shoes on eBay. (PROSE: Another Life) When studying the team after the incident with the Amok, Owen Harper used the Bekaran scanner. (PROSE: Border Princes) He later brought it to Megan Tegg to introduce her to Torchwood. (PROSE: Another Life) Owen later used it to remotely examine Marianne Till. (PROSE: Slow Decay) When investigating if the zombies found in Cardiff were actually undead humans, Jack Harkness and Ianto Jones used Owen's Bekaran scanner to examine the one they captured. (PROSE: Bay of the Dead) Gwen Cooper used it to discover that Leon Foiret's neutrons were disappearing. (AUDIO: Lost Souls)
