Protobioforms (many tentacled giant eyeballs), were usually much smaller and dependent on travel machines The giant mutant protobioform which for a while brought terror to the Xragoni home world, was old and dying. Terrified and in pain, it fled to an asteroid to die, pursued by two Xragoni who at first intending to hunt it down, later comforted it in its dying moments and respectfully saw it buried.
