Infobox image[[edit source]]

Can we get a better image of Nardole? From what I understand of this wiki, infobox images are chosen based on their quality. That's why the Twelfth Doctor page still uses an image of him from Series 8. The Nardole image we currently have isn't exactly that great considering the dark lighting and I think it could be easily replaced with a more brighter image of him. One good place to get an image for him from would be The Pilot. Scoobydooman90001 11:41, May 14, 2017 (UTC)

Agreed, though it faces the article and is visible enough of his face. But yes, one slightly brighter would be better. Snivystorm 11:43, May 14, 2017 (UTC)

So, what about this one? Looking left, much more natural light, and focused on his face. OncomingStorm12th 21:40, May 27, 2017 (UTC)

Not ideal for a very simple reason. This is a wide shot cropped to Nardole, when we're really looking for a close-up focus-shot of the character. OS25 (Talk) 22:20, May 27, 2017 (UTC)
I mean, it's not ideal, but, IMO, certainly better than the green-light one we currently have. If, in the future, we come across an yet better image, we can always replace it. OncomingStorm12th 22:26, May 27, 2017 (UTC)
Yes, but usually we prefer to do this once and then never again. OS25 (Talk) 22:31, May 27, 2017 (UTC)

What about this one? Again, it's not perfect - but I think it's still better than the one we currently have on the page. Nardole is currently one of the featured pages, so I think it would be better to have an heading image which is as suitable as possible. As OncomingStorm12th said, it's easy to replace the image again if/when a better one becomes available in the future. 66 Seconds 13:55, June 8, 2017 (UTC)

I think you've got a winner. OS25 (Talk) 14:45, June 8, 2017 (UTC)

Cyborg body[[edit source]]

I was wondering if this line could be considered accurate, "During this time, the Doctor grew fearful being alone, and so returned to Nardole and reassembled him, taking his head from Hydroflax and "glueing" it onto a new cyborg body.", due to the fact that it is not once referred to in the show that Nardole is a cyborg in a line of dialogue. Of course we as viewers are aware that Nardole has cybernetic components but how do we really know that what he has is a "new cyborg body"?

It's sort of like how Bill being born in 1991 is disputed because it's stated in the show that she is 26 but there is no evidence of her birth year.

I may just be being pedantic but I thought it might be something of note that you would want to look into.

This line is incorrect in more ways than one and does need to be rewritten. I can't believe it was ever allowed to remain in the first place as it is mostly speculation (the Doctor wasn't even the one who reassembled Nardole, it was River to ensure that the Doctor had someone by his side to stop him going off the rails after her death). Where do you get that part about River reassembling him??? All the dialogue says it was the Doctor: "when I glued your head back on" "I got your lungs cheap."--WarGrowlmon18 22:32, May 29, 2017 (UTC)

I was thinking the same. Th Doctor explicitly states in Doctor Mysterio that he "reassembled" Nardole. SarahJaneFan 21:00, May 30, 2017 (UTC)

(For the record, the Bill birth year is disputed now because it's not explicitly stated, but because it's not necessarily true. She was 26 in 2017, but that doesn't mean she was born in 1991. She may well have been born in 1990, and that would still be true. We don't know when her birthday is, and we don't necessarily know the month or time of year in the setting of Pyramid.)
