Nicholas I

Nicholas I was the Tsar of Russia during the Crimean War (1853-1856). He was doubtful that his country could win the war and believed that most people felt sorry for him due to his health problems. (AUDIO: The Angel of Scutari)

He was an ancestor of Tsar Nicholas II. (AUDIO: The Wanderer)
