Jedka was a girl who lived and attended school at Klimtenburg during the 19th century. After being given an anti-radiation pill by the Eleventh Doctor, she helped round up dangerous items from around the village to stunt the radiation derived from the crash-landed Cyber-ship. (PROSE: Plague of the Cybermen)
