James Corden and the Dalek, sometimes known as Craig Owens and the Dalek was a webcast released alongside Open All Hours, an episode of Doctor Who Confidential on the BBC YouTube channel. It featured James Corden and Matt Smith partially in character as Craig Owens as the Eleventh Doctor.

Synopsis

James Corden has to find the Dalek in the room before it's too late.

Plot

A miniaturised version of Dalek Thay stands on a table, its eyestalk and gunstick missing. The Doctor makes contact with Craig, who he warns of the imminent threat of the enemy inside his house - the "most evil, most terrible, most ghastly thing, that the universe has ever ever known." Craig asks what the Doctor means, to which he replies that it is a Dalek. Craig, scared, asks what it looks like. The Doctor tells him it is small and gold, and Craig realises he has seen it in Alfie's room. Dalek Thay then attacks various objects inside Alfie's room, before encountering Craig, who is inexplicably singing the Doctor Who theme tune. Craig is then attacked by the Dalek.
