The Stallholder was a male human who lived in Pompeii in the year 72. He owned a stall, where The Doctor parked the TARDIS. Donna Noble, wondering how the TARDIS telepathy field would translate Roman to a Roman, went up to him and said 'Viva la france', to which he replied, "I no speak Celtic". He then sold the TARDIS to Carcellius and was confronted by The Doctor. (DW: The Fires of Pompeii)
