The First Doctor and his granddaughter nearly stole a faulty TARDIS when leaving Gallifrey. However, an echo of Clara Oswald appeared and told him he was making "a very big mistake" by stealing the wrong TARDIS. She convinced him to steal a TARDIS with a "knackered" navigation system that would be "much more fun". (TV: The Name of the Doctor)
