Starship

Starship (a.k.a. interstellar spacecraft) are spacecraft designed to travel between star systems or galaxies.

Starships can traverse these distances in two basic ways:

• Starships that use faster-than-light travel.

• Starship which travel at or under the speed of light but put crew members in suspended animation.

• • Generation starships such as The Ark. (DW: The Ark)

We do not know at what time in history Humans will develop starships, although they seem to exist by the early 21st century. (DW: Nightmare of Eden)

It is possible that the stunnel link between Earth and Arcturus stalled the invention of cost effective starships. (NA: Transit)
