Behind the Scenes
On November 23 1986, Ludo from Labyrinth appeared on a talk show to help promote Labyrinth, on that same show Colin Baker appeared, at the end of the show Colin Baker (representing Doctor Who) cut a birthday cake for the series' 23rd birthday, surrounded by the cast and guests of the show, including Ludo, who all sung "23 today".

Amongst the many people who have worked on both Doctor Who and the Muppets in some way shape or form include Christopher Eccleston who appeared in the ITV documentary Best Ever Muppet Moments. Doctor Who Script Editor and writer Douglas Adams worked with Jim Henson Productions, which created the Muppets. Rowan Atkinson and Michael Palin appeared in the 1990 Jim Henson Creature Shop film The Witches. Joanne Lumley voiced a live flower in the 1999 Jim Henson Creature Shop tv film of Alice in Wonderland. Leonard Nimoy appeared in the 7th issue of Muppet Magazine and made a cameo in the episode of Muppets Tonight that Garth Brooks hosted. Steven Spielberg was interviewd in the Muppetds Tribute to Jim Henson.
