Talk:Invasion of the Dinosaurs (TV story)

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

You know…

It wouldn't have been just the humans and the Silurians Grover and Whitaker would have erased. Anything that came after that freighter explosion would never have existed. No spotted owls. No ivory-billed woodpeckers. Not even a housefly. - Tawaki 04:58, April 24, 2010 (UTC)

You seriously misunderstand what Operation Golden Age was. The idea was to turn back time to an earlier stage of man's development, and guide him on a different path. The dinosaurs were merely to clear out London, there was never an intention to go back to the age of the dinosaurs, or indeed turn up at the exact time the dinosaurs were made extinct. There'd still be well over 60 million years of unaltered evolution.165.225.80.225talk to me 11:15, March 13, 2018 (UTC)

The text states this is the first story directed by a women since The Massacre. The Underwater Menace was directed by Julia Smith.165.225.80.59talk to me 16:43, April 13, 2016 (UTC)

Benton's Request

"Sergeant Benton suggests that the Doctor use Venusian aikido on him in order to escape." He asks the Doctor to use his Venusian "Ooja".165.225.80.225talk to me 17:18, March 12, 2018 (UTC)

Is This A Production Error?

"In part six, the Doctor is driving a Land Rover with the Brigadier in the passenger seat. The next time we see them, the Brigadier is behind the wheel."

Yes, but some time has passed before the next time we see them.165.225.80.225talk to me 11:08, March 13, 2018 (UTC)

Eyes To The Right

This one is a production error, it's quite famous so I'm surprised it's not in the article. When the Doctor drives under the Brontosaurus in part 6, the production team forgot to reverse the model. You see the dinosaur from both sides, and each time it is facing right.165.225.80.225talk to me 11:10, March 13, 2018 (UTC)
