Indecision[[edit source]]

I'm not sure which of the images below is best to illustrate this story:

If you preview the one with Master, it does look good, but I'm not sure if it's as important in the context of the story as the assassination. If anyone has an opinion on this, or just wants to make the switch, go ahead.--Skittles the hog - talk 21:23, September 1, 2011 (UTC)

I think the gunsight on the President summarises the story perfectly. --Revan\Talk 21:25, September 1, 2011 (UTC)

The President in the gun sights, definitely.
The Master hugging the Eye of Harmony only makes sense if you've seen the story, and even then it's a small part of it. --Tangerineduel / talk 08:34, September 2, 2011 (UTC)

Time Lord names[[edit source]]

The "Story Notes" section says:

  • This story establishes that Time Lords do sometimes use proper names on their homeworld (previous uses have either been aliases, or of ambiguous origin such as Morbius; and rank-and-file Time Lords seen in stories like TV: The War Games and The Three Doctors had gone unnamed).

It's true that this is the first time we see "rank-and-file Time Lords" with names, but what about Omega? Sure, Omega (audio story) says that it was a nickname, but I don't think there's anything in The Three Doctors to suggest that it wasn't his actual name. And what's ambiguous about Morbius' name? —Josiah Rowe talk to me 02:37, May 10, 2012 (UTC)

Why was this never answered? --DCLM 21:24, February 25, 2017 (UTC)

Knowledge of the Master[[edit source]]

Why don't any of the Time Lords, except those in league with him and the Doctor, know about the Master in this story? Additionally why is there no recollection of him in the files? The Time Lords were the ones who warned the Doctor of him when he came to Earth. --DCLM 21:24, February 25, 2017 (UTC)

Released - Or Escaped?[[edit source]]

"It was released as issue 52 of The Deadly Assassin". This doesn't sound right.165.225.76.164talk to me 16:43, May 3, 2018 (UTC)

It's The End, But The Moment Has Been Prepared For[[edit source]]

"Because of intense negative reactions from the public, Philip Hinchcliffe was replaced as producer the following season and the BBC wiped the offending cliffhanger from the master 625 line PAL colour videotape; consequently, all home releases and reruns simply use in part three the reprise seen at the beginning of part four."

According to the restoration team website, Finklestone rebuilt the end from the two off-air copies.[1]165.225.76.164talk to me 15:46, May 4, 2018 (UTC)
