The label Type 102 or 102-form was applied to at least two types of TARDIS.

Long before the War in Heaven, (PROSE: The Shadows of Avalon) Epsilon Delta stole a Type 102 TARDIS from Gallifrey and fled, travelling to other worlds like Argolis before eventually leaving to head for Earth. He found its best features to be its highly reliable chameleon circuit and voice-activated lock. The TARDIS Epsilon Delta used carried a number of spare dimensions which could be used to house prisoners. (PROSE: The Dimension Riders)

Later, model numbers were standardised, (PROSE: The Book of the War) and "Type 102" was used to refer to the first sentient, humanoid TARDIS, who would "mother" all Type 103s. The Eighth Doctor's companion Compassion became the Type 102 after her biodata was warped by signals from the TARDIS, picked up through her Remote receiver. (PROSE: The Shadows of Avalon)
