Established in 1907, the Colchester Evening News was a local newspaper in Colchester. The April 19, 2011 issue of the newspaper had news of Nina, a local girl who was kicked off Britain's Got Talent, on the front page. News items on mysterious disappearances caused by Cybermen were on pages 7, 19 and 22.
The same edition also featured an article with the headline "Local Lad Heads to the Olympics" about a Colchester teen heading to the 2012 Olympics, and "German Shepherd Sniffs out Norman Fortune" about a dog which found long-lost treasure at Colchester Castle. (TV: Closing Time)
