The Santine Rift was a location in the planetary string of ancient civilisations in the North Constellations. It was near Klist. (PROSE: The Gallifrey Chronicles)

Behind the scenes

Along with several other allusions to Death Comes to Time in The Gallifrey Chronicles, the Santine Rift shares its name with Santine, a planet home to the peaceful Santine Republic which is devastated during the events of Death Comes to Time.
