You Are Valued was a motivational series which Karl Wright listened to. He repeated after the friendly voice which said, "I am special. I am valued. Somebody out there wants me." Another line was, "I am confident. I achieve my goals."

Karl later repeated these lines to himself in moments of fear, when Tzim-Sha was pursuing him, and he had to climb a crane. As he prepared to jump to safety, on the Thirteenth Doctor's instructions, he said to himself, "I am special. I am brave. And I'm gonna jump!" (TV: The Woman Who Fell to Earth)
