Howling:UNIT in the Classic Series
Well, I've found the names of a number of recurring extras and actors who portrayed UNIT personnel. Anyone who is interested in doing a few edits or forming an article around this may do so.
Corporal Adams- Max Faulkner. The Ambassadors of Death, The Android Invasion. NOTE: Was originally given the first name of Richard. Named in The Android Invasion.
Private Betts- David Billa. The Three Doctors, The Green Death, Invasion of the Dinosaurs. NOTE: Named in The Green Death.
Private Stevens- Leslie Bates. The Three Doctors, The Green Death, Invasion of the Dinosaurs. NOTE: Named in The Green Death.
Private/Corporal- Pat Gorman. The Three Doctors, Invasion of the Dinosaurs, Planet of the Spiders. NOTE: Given the surname of Hodges and said to work in the transport division of UNIT in the novelisation of PotS. Conflated with another character and subsequently given the name of Corporal Norton but retained his original function in the novelisation of IotD. Seen briefly in the uniform of a private in TTD, wore the uniform of a corporal in IotD and was in civilian clothing while repairing the Doctor's car for him in PotS.
Corporal- Patrick Milner. Spearhead from Space, The Daemons, The Android Invasion. NOTE: Also seen as a regular army soldier in IotD and a Royal Marine sent to fetch the Doctor in The Seeds of Doom. It is unclear if these are all the same character. --121.218.194.128 14:45, November 8, 2009 (UTC)
