Doug (Beguine)

Doug was a beagle owned by Ben when he was fourteen. One Sunday night, Iris Wildthyme took Doug from the back garden for a quick trot and brought him back, telling Ben that she had found the dog traversing dimensions after he had slipped through a ley line. The strange conversation gave Ben the inspiration he would need when he later became a famous writer. Even in his old age, Ben would sometimes think of Doug. (PROSE: Beguine)
