Koontz worked at Tel Aviv Medical in Israel.
During the Miracle, he reported that all cellular necrosis had stopped. He was part of a team that tried killing living tissue, but believed that the tissue was instead going into hibernation. Simran Baidwan called him insane. (TV: Rendition)
