Sarah Swan was a computer hacker.
She and Luis Perez obtained Eridani technology which let them create the Savant. The Sixth Doctor stopped them from unknowingly allowing it to take over the Earth. The aftereffects of the Savant's brain manipulations rendered them mostly catatonic. Swan was institutionalised at Bainbridge Hospital for the rest of her life. (PROSE: Blue Box)
