The Stellion Core was the home of a species of humanoids which possessed yellow skin and red eyes and were very sensitive to sound. One band of Stellion Core pirates forced a Starfire cruiser to crash in the Gorlon asteroid field so they could steal the Vortex Code. They tried to get it from the Tenth Doctor, but he escaped by using his sonic screwdriver against them. They met them again on the planet Chrone, but the Doctor tricked them by altering the Code before departing. (COMIC: The Vortex Code)
