A Starfire cruiser was a type of spacecraft. One such Starfire cruiser was transporting a Mark 9 Servitor containing the Vortex Code to Earth when it was forced to crash in the Gorlon asteroid field by Stellion Core pirates, killing the crew and damaging the Servitor. (COMIC: The Vortex Code)
