Mrs Pendrell was the mother of Luke Pendrell. She and her husband did not show up to take Luke home from Winterborne School for the Christmas holidays in 1994, for which they apologised with a cheque and a hasty sorry written on Claridge's note-paper. They also neglected to pick him up for Whitsun in 1995, for which Luke told Christian Purcell that he expected a similar apology. (HOMEVID: The Devil of Winterborne)
