A Coal Hill School secretary once believed Clara had given her some TENA Lady as a "secret Santa" present. Due to the embarrassing nature of such a gift, Clara thought that the secretary would be uncooperative if asked to provide Courtney Woods' telephone number. (TV: Kill the Moon)

- Though the joke would have been obvious to the original British audience, it likely would have flown over the heads of audiences elsewhere. TENA Lady is a product to help control incontinence — in essence, adult diapers.
- It's contextually unclear whether Clara was referring to the school secretary previously seen at the start of Into the Dalek, or another one.
