Tony Barton voiced Straith in the Big Finish Doctor Who audio story Absolution.
He is perhaps best known from his recurring roles on Emmerdale Farm, The Olympian Way and Grange Hill. He has also had guest-starring roles on such shows as Cracker and Our Friends in the North, with Christopher Eccleston; Hetty Wainthropp Investigates; Coronation Street; Hardware; Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, with Sheridan Smith; and Last of the Summer Wine.
