Lister is a character from the TV show Red Dwarf. In the show he is put into status because he smuggled a cat on to the ship. He was awoken 3 million years after. He found out from Red Dwarf's computer Holly that the crew died in a radiation leak, however he ends up with a hologram of his bunkmate Arnold Rimmer, The Cat who had evolved from Lister's cat and Kryten a mechanoid from the ship Nova 5.
