The short notice of Rose Tyler's return home led Jackie Tyler to tell her that Christmas dinner would be meat paste. Ultimately, however, following the defeat of a Sycorax invasion of Earth in the interim, the Tenth Doctor joined Rose and Jackie as well as Mickey Smith for Christmas dinner, which included a turkey, at the Tylers' flat on the night of 25 December.
