The Rhumons were a race of tall and slender humanoids with copper-coloured skin.
War broke out between the Imperials on Rhumon Prime and the Republicans on New Rhumos. When Vortis settled in the Rhumos system, the war came to the planet and the native Menoptera were enslaved. The Rhumons ceased fighting after the Second Doctor helped them defeat the Animus. (PROSE: Twilight of the Gods)
