Malkeburg

Malkeburg, like Drettleburg, was a town near Klimtenburg. After Klimtenburg's church was destroyed by a crashing Cyber-ship, many villagers journeyed to Malkeburg at Christmas and Easter as another way of making peace with God. Lord Ernhardt often had duties to perform in Malkeburg and places further beyond, more so than in Klimtenburg where he lived.

In the 19th century, when the threatened to Cybermen attack Klimtenburg, the villagers considered trying to get word out to Malkeburg, but this was ruled out as it would take at least two days for the message to reach Malkeburg's nearest marshal, another two days for them to assemble troops, and almost a week before help actually arrived. Kris also doubted whether Malkeburg would decide to aid Klimtenburg at all. The Cybermen were stopped before it was necessary for Malkeburg to send aid. (PROSE: Plague of the Cybermen)
